Like the UM410, the UM410+ has ten four-way 3.5mm mults, grouped into pairs, with a normally closed connection between them, providing up to five seven-way multiples. Additionally, the UM410+ incorporates a 4-way mult board that provides a 1/4" insert, accessible from the back. The schematic of the 4-way mult shows connection and operation details.
Two UM410+s can be used to bring all 8 CVs and all 8 GATEs from an ENCORE EXPRESSIONIST to a front-panel 4-way mult for each signal, with four 4-way mults left over.
The UM410+ ships with one RMS-1 screw set.
*NOTE: Currently, the UM410+ incorporates jacks with a metallic-silver ringed appearance rather than the solid black appearance pictured above. (These are the same jacks used in the UM410).
The UM410+ interfaces easily to 1/4" systems like the Encore Expressionist, however, 3.5mm to 1/4" adapters are required to interface the UM410+ to systems like the KENTON Pro-2000 MIDI/CV Converter or the DOEPFER MAQ16/3 Sequencer. The solution currently available from Ad Infinitum uses 3.5mm Female to 1/4" Male Mono Plug Adapters and 3.5mm Patch Cables to connect between external 3.5mm jacks and the 1/4" insert jacks on the rear of the UM410+.
These 3.5mm Female to 1/4" Male Mono Plug Adapters are surprisingly effective considering their lightweight construction and their low cost. The adaptor's grip on the 3.5mm plug is tight...way stronger than the typical 1/4" extraction force, which is a great help when removing the 3.5mm cable/adapter combo from a 1/4" panel jack.
Ten 3.5mm Female to 1/4" Male Mono Adapters.
The AK-B-UM410-KP2000 and AK-C-UM410-KP2000 adapter kits each provide adapters and cables for connecting one or two UM410+ modules to a KENTON Pro-2000 mkII MIDI-to-CV converter. Each kit includes 11 3.5mm Female to 1/4" Male mono adapters and 11 24" 3.5mm patch cables.
The Kenton Pro-2000 has 2 Main CV outputs, 2 Main Gate outputs, 6 Auxiliary outputs and 1 clock output. One UM410+ can be used to bring all but one signal to the front panel. An additional UM410+ would allow access to the remaining signal with 9 4-way mults left over.

The AK-B-UM410-MAQ16/3 and AK-C-UM410-MAQ16/3 adapter kits each provide adapters and cables for connecting a UM410+ module to a DOEPFER MAQ16/3 Sequencer. Each kit includes 6 3.5mm Female to 1/4" Male mono adapters and 6 24" 3.5mm patch cables.
The Doepfer MAQ16/3 has 1 Control Voltage output and 1 Gate output for each of the 3 rows, a total of 6 outputs. One UM410+ can be used to bring all of these signals to the front panel with 4 4-way mults left over.
